1. Celebration! Your engagement session is a time to celebrate being engaged! That’s redundant, but it’s worth repeating. The second you get engaged, too many couples skip reveling in being engagement and move right into wedding plans. We’re going to put a pause on wedding plans for the day and just celebrate you, your love, and the fact that you’re engaged!!
2. Get the Awkward Out! Whether you are the 1% of people that feel comfortable in front of the camera – or the other 99% of us that feel strangely awkward the minute the camera is turned toward you- the engagement session is an opportunity for you to experience our photojournalistic approach. You’ll spend 80% of your time in truly authentic moments and no more than 20% looking at the camera… maybe not that exact ratio, but it’s pretty close. You’ll realize after just a few minutes that you don’t have to perform for us… the moments will just naturally happen.
3. Adventure! Your engagement session should be DATE NIGHT y’all! Seriously, we’re going to make it an adventure. We do our homework before the session to know what you love to do, places you might like to go, etc. It’s so much more than a beach session.
